Pometry Wins 2025 Swiss Cyber Startup Challenge

Pometry has been named the winner of the 2025 Cyber Startup Challenge, organised by the Cyber-Defence Campus of armasuisse Wissenschaft und Technologie (Federal Office for Defence Procurement).

The challenge, now in its sixth year, promotes collaboration between research, industry, and government to pioneer new technologies for cyber defence. Pometry was selected from a strong international field for its time-based graph platform, which provides real-time analysis of dynamic data relationships.

Unlike traditional systems that capture static snapshots, Pometry’s technology enables analysts to see how data and relationships evolve, connect, and behave over time. This temporal-first approach is critical for detecting modern, sophisticated cyber threats, uncovering hidden patterns, and identifying complex fraud, which often unfolds across different time scales.

As part of the award, Pometry will conduct a proof of concept (PoC) with the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) and the Swiss Armed Forces, applying its solution to a real-world national security environment.

“We are exceptionally proud to win this prestigious challenge and for the recognition from armasuisse. In cyber defence, adversaries are always adapting and probing for new vulnerabilities. To defeat them, you must be able to analyse data temporally and stop them proactively, before a threat crystallizes. This win underscores the power to deliver this next-generation capability, and we look forward to replicating the success we have had with other commands and now deploying it with the Swiss Armed Forces.”
