Pometry Appoints Professor Renaud Lambiotte as Scientific Advisor
Pometry, the temporal graph intelligence company, is honoured to announce the appointment of Renaud Lambiotte, Professor of Networks and Nonlinear Systems at the University of Oxford, as a Scientific Advisor. Professor Lambiotte is a globally recognised leader in the study of complex networks, and his pioneering work on temporal networks and community detection will provide invaluable guidance to Pometry’s research and development efforts.
“Having a mind like Renaud’s working with our team is a monumental step for Pometry. Professor Lambiotte is one of the world’s foremost experts on the mathematics of dynamic networks – the very field our technology is built upon. His foundational research into how network structures evolve, cluster, and behave over time perfectly aligns with our mission to help organisations analyse change at a massive scale. His guidance will be instrumental as we push the boundaries of what is possible in temporal graph analytics.”
Alhamza Alnaimi, CEO, Pometry
Professor Lambiotte is a leading academic at Oxford’s Mathematical Institute and a Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. His research focuses on the modelling and analysis of large, dynamic networks, with applications in social, biological, and technological systems. He is co-author of some of the most influential papers in the field, including the highly cited “Fast unfolding of communities in large networks,” and has written the book on temporal networks.
“The work being done at Pometry is at the cutting edge of applied network science. For years, much of my theoretical work has focused on the importance of the temporal dimension to map out and understand complex evolving systems. Pometry is one of the few companies that has successfully translated these advanced mathematical concepts into a high-performance engine capable of solving real-world problems at an industrial scale. I am excited to collaborate with their talented team and contribute to a platform that is making temporal analysis accessible and powerful.”
