Pometry Appoints Edward Sherrington as Chief Product Officer

Pometry, the temporal graph intelligence company, today announced the appointment of Edward Sherrington as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Ed brings a wealth of experience in building and scaling high-impact, data-driven B2B products for the financial services industry. In his new role, he will lead Pometry’s product strategy and execution, focusing on accelerating the company’s mission to help organisations understand and leverage the power of time in their data.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Ed to the Pometry team. Ed’s proven track record of transforming innovative technology into category-defining products for major financial institutions is exactly what we need as we enter our next phase of growth. His experience at Codat, taking them from Series A to C – building high value products adopted by the likes of JP Morgan, PayPal & Revolut - is invaluable. He understands how to bridge the gap between complex technology and tangible business value, which will be critical as we expand our footprint.”

Alhamza Alnaimi, CEO, Pometry

Ed joins Pometry after a successful tenure at Codat, where he served as VP of Product. During his time there, he was instrumental in the company’s growth, leading the strategic pivot from a universal API to a customer intelligence platform. He also has a strong history of hands-on product creation, having led the creation of Codat’s flagship Spend Analysis product and collaborated with Microsoft and OpenAI to develop unique AI propositions built on business data. Prior to Codat, Ed was Head of Product at Bud Financial, where he helped secure a $20M Series A funding round and delivered the UK’s first bank-partnered open banking application with First Direct.

“I am thrilled to be joining Pometry at such a pivotal moment. Alhamza, Ben & team have built something remarkable. The ability to analyse not just the relationships in data, but how those relationships evolve over time, is a fundamental missing piece in the current analytics landscape. I’m excited to work with them to transform decision intelligence by making it more dynamic & useful than ever.”

Ed Sherrington, Chief Product Officer, Pometry

Ed’s appointment comes as Pometry continues to see growing demand for its high-performance temporal graph platform, which enables use cases from advanced fraud and AML detection to building sophisticated, AI-native applications.
